Zach – we loved the Stamford too which is why we want to keep the original features as much as possible. The great thing is that you get all the benefits of the Stamford and much much more. No more dirty carpets or warm beer. We have invested heavily in one of the best beer cooling systems out there and manage it privately so we can ensure that you can have the perfect pint every time (you just need to pour it perfectly or if you can’t be bothered – let one of the team do it for you!)
Love the idea. I can’t wait to come to pub but the menu is very disappointing – really bad for vegetarians and for lactose intolerance – both my case. I don’t understand why some pubs don’t design menus that appeal for everybody as these days people are a lot more conscious about health and environment.
Anyway, I will have to wait until chef gets more creative… sadly
Mary – I am sorry to hear your thoughts on the menu and its limitations. We do have a new one since your comments which is based around our really popular bear burgers of which we have two very popular veggie ones so i would love to hear your thoughts on it.
In terms of lactose friendly dishes I shall speak to the chef and understand our options. I thank you for highlighting this to us!
Looking good boys! Have registered for info as mums are not always kept up to date! Love your youtube clip and refurb pics. Hope to visit soon x
Booom! looks awesome.
I work around the corner, and we loved the Stamford Arms. But, the office is pretty excited to try out the Thirsty Bear! Good luck, guys.
