Oh yes, things are coming together very well now. Need proof? Okay, here is the table we refer to as the ‘Coffee Table’.
As you can see the iPad is in place and the two different self service taps are connected and ready to go.
Getting excited yet?
Well things are progressing nicely and really starting to come together. It still looks like a bit of a building site but if you can see through the sawdust there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
The very first pint, from the very first at table tap was pulled on Friday. Phil was our guinea pig and he advised that it “tasted exquisite” and was “perfectly chilled”. However, not satisfied with perfection of a single pint we continued to measure taste and temperature over the weekend. The good news is despite rigorous testing we found no issues with taste or temperature.
Another milestone was the official rebranding of the building. On Sunday the first of the Stamford Arms signs were taken down and replaced with beautiful and elegant signs for The Thirsty Bear.
Here is a quick collection of photographs showing the table application in action and of course showing the enclosure that will keep the iPads safe.
Want a closer look at what we will be installing early next year in the pub?
Well you’re in luck, we have just installed a demonstration screen and tap on the bar in the Stamford Arms, so you are welcome to come down, have a play and give us some feedback.
Above is our first real customer enjoying the system and pulling their first pint.
Looking forward to seeing you in there
